All over the world, we always known about the endangered animals, but what are the most endangered plants? They might not be as stirring or attractive as animals, but they are just as important to the ecosystem and humanity depends on that ecosystem. عزيزى القارىء نتناول فى هذه السلسلة من المقالات بعض الانواع النباتية المهددة بالانقراض فى صمت بالغ وبدون الاهتمام الكافى كمثيلتها من الفصيلة .الحيوانية     “ونبدا اليوم بالحديث عن نبات الابريق او “الجرة نبات ابريق    اتنبره Nepenthes attenboroughii هوأحد النباتات المهددة بالانقراض ويعرف ايضا بنبات الجرة, وهو من النباتات صائدة الحشرات, ولذا يمكن تصنيفه كنباتات اكلة اللحوم حيث يمكنها ايضا ان تصطاد الفئران,, وشجيراته قائمة، وغالباً ما تكون متسلقة, الأوراق متبادلة ومتحورة على شكل أبريق يصل طوله لحوالى 30 سم, ومحمولة في الوضع القائم على طرف الساق, ويوجد بداخلها كمية من السوائل التى تحتوي على إنزيمات هاضمة, ولها غطاء شمعي دائم له وظيفتين اساسيتين الأولى حماية الجرّة من ماء المطرالمتساقط, والثانية اجتذاب الحشرات لغدد الرحيق الموجودة في أسفل الجرّة ,  وتحاط حافة الجرّة بأضلاع بارزة تتدلى حوافّها الحادة للداخل، وتوجد غدد الرحيق بين هذه الأضلاع، وتتجلى قدرة الله فى هذا النبات حيث نجد أن الحافة ملساء ناعمة وكذلك الجزء الداخلي للجرة وبالتالى لاتوجد فرصة للحشرة في الوقوف والهروب من الج
